After making her presence felt in Kollywood, Tollywood and Mollywood, it is now destination Bollywood for Vimala Raman. The Australia-born actress is currently part of two Hindi projects, and one of them will feature her as a journalist.
While she plays a media woman in Ankush Bhatt directed ‘Mumbai Mirror‘, which has Sachin Joshi of ‘Azaan‘ fame as the hero, she will be seen doing a crucial role in ‘Afra Tafri’, which is fast taking shape.
“It is my long time wish to play a journalist. I am happy that I have bagged one such role in Mumbai Mirror,” Vimala Raman says and adds: “I am looking forward for more such challenging roles which would offer me with good scope to perform.”
Actress Vimala Raman started her Kollywood career with the legendary K Balachander‘s ‘Poi‘ in 2006. At present in Kollywood, she is part of ‘Aasu Raja Rani Jackie Matrum Joker‘. She is popular in Tamil for her role in ‘Raman Thedia Seethai‘.


































Actress Vimala Raman, who is already working on a Bollywood project, Afra Tafri, has signed on her next film there.
She will be seen opposite Sachiin Joshi (of Azaan fame) in Mumbai Mirror, which is being directed by Ankush Bhatt.
The actress was quoted saying, “I started shooting for Mumbai Mirror couple of days ago. I always get excited when I’m shooting the first day, and since I began my portions on the day the project went on floors, I can say I’m doubly excited. I’ve already shot with Sachiin briefly..
She play a confident journalist in the film, who works towards bringing down corruption in the society. The film is a pucca entertainer..
Meanwhile She has also completed shooting for Afra Tafri, a multi-starrer featuring Govinda, Suniel Shetty and Mugdha Godse in the lead.
