Chiyaan Vikram is currently busy shooting for “Thaandavam” where Anushka is the lead heroine. A.L Vijay is directing this action entertainer that showcases Vikram in dual roles.
Vikram will be seen as an under cop in Thaandavam along with Tollywood actor Jagapathi Babu, while Amy Jackson and Lakshmi Rai will be playing other female leads.
The second charecter doing by Vikram is a visually challenged(blind) man. Vikram has recently met a visually challenged person in US, who can also perform stunts and can even ride a bike.The actor has learnt some techniques from him.
The first look of Thaandavam has been released amidst much expectations and we are able to decipher that it is going to be a different storyline altogether.
G.V Prakash Kumar is composing the music for this action entertainer that is being produced by UTV Motion Pictures.

Producers are Ronie Screwala, Siddarth rai kapoor. This movie shooting is complete by 70% and now the movie schedule is going on at London for 50days. The movie is rolling in Telugu and Tamil languages.
Actor Vikram is doing in a different role in this movie which he has not touched so far in his career. This is very expensive film in UTV banner. After setting the screen on fire with Deiva Thirumagal, actor Vikram and director A L Vijay come together again for Thaandavam.
The movie besides Vikram stars Anushka, Amy Jackson and Jagapathy Babu in the lead and the latest addition to the team is Lakshmi Rai of Kanchana fame. Interestingly Lakshmi Rai plays a power-packed role in Thandavam.
The shooting is currently progressing at brisk pace in London. Interestingly the first schedule of the mega movie took place in Delhi where scenes involving Vikram and Anushka were shot.
Being made in Tamil and Telugu simultaneously, the movie reportedly features Vikram in dual role. G V Prakash is the music composer, while Nirav Shah is handling the camera.
The highlight of the movie is that Santhanam, the sought-after comedian in Tamil cinema plays a key role. Buzz is that he plays a illegal immigrant in London, who runs a cab.
Amy Jackson who romances Vikram in the movie also does some daredevil stunt sequences. She has reportedly done a scene that required her to dive from a high building using a parachute. The Madrasapattinam actress, who is a certified sky diver, looks to advance her experience in diving with such action sequences.
With all work going at hectic pace, Thaandavam is all set for a release very soon.
