UTV’s Dhanajayan has said that it has finally been confirmed that Vettai will be remade in Telugu. With this film turning out to be a huge success in Kollywood, enquiries started pouring in from Tollywood for the remake rights. Finally, the remake rights have been bagged by popular producer Bellamkonda Suresh, confirmed UTV South CEO G Dananjayan.
Naga Chaitanya, Sunil and Hansika Motwani have been signed up so far to play the lead roles in this film. Yet another heroine and the other star cast and crew will be announced very soon, we hear. It is worth mentioning here that the Tamil version Vettai starred Aarya, Madhavan, Amala Paul and Sameera Reddy in the lead roles.
