It looks like Tamil cinema patrons are in for a super treat this weekend, what with the release of ‘Vazhakku Enn 18 / 9‘. A special screening of the film was held for celebrities and boy oh boy, were they pleased with the film! The top notch makers were visibly speechless after watching the film that’s a mirror to reality.
It was quite a sight to see unanimous positive response from the gathered. The film has generated much buzz as Balaji Shakthivel‘s previous venture ‘Kadhal’ was a cult blockbuster and he is back after a long hiatus with this film. Harris Jayaraj: It’s not a mere film it’s a brilliant experience by itself. It’s a new attempt and there’s life to the film. I’m a big fan of Balaji Shakthivel and this film will definitely be way bigger than Kadhal.
Bharath (Kadhal lead) – This film has the genuine impact that was there in Kadhal. Its marvelous how a maker can deliver a wonderful film as this based on the script alone, when others are in the commercial rate race. The climax is so very beautiful and every scene is close to reality!
Sandhya (Kadhal actress) – This film reminds me of Kadhal, Balaji Shakthivel sir has delivered a wonderful movie and the performers have delivered their best. Watch and encourage this film like you encouraged Kadhal.

Jayam Raja: I am not able to talk after watching this movie… It’s been ages that a film gave such a haunting experience! It’s beautiful to see such an angle for love. It’s like reading a beautiful book or poem. It’s shocking to see such good performers. Vazhakku Enn 18 / 9 proves that cinema is magical; many wondered if a film can be better than Kadhal but believe me this is only bigger!
