Trisha’s fascinatin for cricket is as popular as her smile. Some time back she even functioned, albeit briefly, as the brand ambassadress of the Chennai Super Kings in the IPL annual tourney. The 29-year old actress celebrated her 29th birthday a fortnight back on beaches of Thailand where she had gone for vacationing along with her select group of friends.

The actress was extremely happy when she received a cricket bat, which was personally signed by ‘Master Blaster’ Sachin Tendulkar. “I cherish this and would preserve this memorable gift from the cricketing legend,” she says gleefully.
Trisha continues as she spells out how she got the bat. “I have taken life insurance with the firm Aviva, for which Sachin Tendulkar happens to be the brand ambassador. When the company decided to gift bats signed by Sachin Tendulkar to a few clients, fortunately, I happened to be one of the few and I’m really thankful to God for the same.
“Like millions of Indians, I’m a huge fan of Sachin Tendulkar and as such, getting a bat with his signature on it is a very special event for me. It’s a precious theing and I would preserve it like a treasure,” concludes Trisha.
