Finally, the much awaited First Look poster of Ilayathalapathy Vijay‘s ‘Thuppaki‘ has been unveiled! It looks suave with Vijay in quite a tough look. What’s shocking above all is the Ilayathalapathy with a cigar, which is quite a rare sight even in his films!
The first look poster looks classy with news text in its background. Thumbs up to team ‘Thuppaki‘ and AR Murugadoss for presenting Vijay in a whole new avatar to his fans!
Thuppaki is an upcoming Tamil action thriller film written and directed by A.R Murugadoss, which will star Vijay as an encounter specialist, alongside Kajal Agarwal. Produced by S. Thanu, the film features background score and soundtrack composed by Harris Jayaraj and cinematography handled by Santhosh Sivan. It is scheduled to release on August 15, 2012.

In the time when everyone are eagerly waiting for the official first look posters of Vijay starrer Thuppakki and Kamal’s Viswaroopam, which were slated to be released tomorrow on 1st May, the posters are leaked by someone.
Feeling sad about this director AR Murugadoss confirmed the news by tweeting in the mictroblogging site as, “That was REAL.” As earlier reported, Thuppakki first look posters were stilled by cinematographer Santosh Sivaa, who was recently honored with ASC membership by American Society of Cinematographers.
Coming to that of Kamal’s Viswaroopam, earlier similar situation occurred in the sets, some one from the crew has disclosed the stills and Kamal Hassan has replaced them by some other. Now the firstlook posters were revealed by some unbelievable source. Lets wait for the confirmation from the makers of Viswaroopam.

Ilayathalapathy Vijay who is working busy with AR Murugadoss for the shoot of Thuppaki, will unveil the film’s first look on the 13th of April, on account of the festive occasion of Tamil New year’s Day.
The film which has music by Harris Jayaraj and the film’s Camera is handled by ace cinematographer Santosh Sivan. Vijay pairs with Kajal Agarwal.
Thuppakki crew also had announced that the movie would be gearing up for 15th August )Independence Day Special) release.
The crew had recently wrapped up a shoot in Bangkok after a 10 day long schedule.

Ilaiyathalapathi Vijay’s Yohan: Adhyayam Ondru shooting is all set to roll from July. Gautham Menon director of Yohan has tweeted via Twitter that Yohan will start his journey in July.
With Thuppaki nearing completion Vijay will movie on to Yohan from July. Official announcement about the final cast and crew of the movie is expected to be announced soon.
