Shruti Hassan is happy that her latest release, the Pawan Kalyan starrer Gabbar Singh, is a huge hit. The film, according to trade sources, has garnered more than 8 crores during the first weekend for its release.
Shruti Hassan’s last two releases in Tollywood, Anaganaga oka Dheerudu and Oh My Friend did not do good business at the box office which made Shruti Hassan’s future look bleak in the Telugu film industry.
However, Gabbar Singh has reversed the situation now; thanks to its immense success. The actress has been receiving rave reviews for her performance in the film. Interestingly, Gabbar Singh is the remake of the Hindi smash hit Dabangg in which Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha played the lead pair.
