The actress is very busy showing her talents in multi language projects. Nandita Das was last seen in Thangar Bachaan’s Azhagi opposite Partheepan. Though she made some cameo for certain films, her presence was not felt much. Now the national award category director Seenu Ramasamy is said to have roped in the actress for his movie Neer paraivagal.
Some months ago it was mentioned on the media that the actress had not confirmed the project. But the assurance came now from her and Seenu Ramasamy is quite happy and relieved. Nandita Das said she did not accept the film at the first instance since she had the domestic commitment of her son. However Seenu Ramasamy persisted her on the importance of the role which made her mind.
Now Nandita Das’s role will be that of a fisherwoman in the film. She said most of the scenes involved too much of emotional deliverances and even Seenu Ramasamy delivered tears on narrating the scenes. Currently the film is on the shots at coastal regions in the state. The film has the cast of Vishnu of Vennila Kabadi Kulu and Sunaina with Thambi Ramiah taking up a hefty role. The film is produced by Udayanidhi Stalin for his Red Giant Movies.
