Work on Vishal-starrer Samar is on at a brisk pace. The unit is off to Bangkok for its next schedule. The movie stars Trisha, Sunaina, JD Chakravarthy and Manoj Bajpayee in key roles.
Samar has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
Says the director, ‘We intend to shoot the songs in Malaysia. The film is an action-thriller. It is basically about a man whose life is thrown out of gear by a sudden incident and how he comes to terms with it.’
Meanwhile, Vishal, has reportedly asked producers to drop the title (Puratchi Thalapathy) before his name in his forthcoming films starting from Samar. The actor appears to have reportedly said not to tag it along with his name in the posters of his forthcoming movie.
He will shoot for a movie titled ‘MGR’ with director Sundar C. Karthika will be playing the female lead.
