First she lost a few kilos. Then she gained some. All for one film – Gautham Menon‘s ‘Neethanae En Ponvasantham‘… The movie which is being made as a trilingual has three different heroes in three versions (Tamil, Telugu and Hindi), but Samantha is the heroine in all of them.
“Since the script deals with three different phases of love, I had to lose weight to get my act right as a school girl. Then I put on for the college student role. I just love my character – Nithya,” Samantha says.
Working with Gautham Menon, according to Samantha, is a delightful experience.
“Everyone watching Neethanae En Ponvasantham will feel that they are watching some episodes of their own lives. That’s the magic of Gautham Menon,” she says.
Music is by Ilayaraja for this flick, which has Jeeva in the lead in Tamil version, Nani in Telugu and Aditya Roy Kapoor in Hindi.
The first audio teaser was out recently. It features close to forty seconds of the movie’s audio with visuals of Ilayaraja composing the music in London with a 108 piece live symphony orchestra and other musicians.
