Actress Priyanka who made her debut with Veyil, directed by Vasantha Balan tied the nuptial knot at the Atukal Temple in Trivandrum yesterday, May 23rd, 2012. She entered the wedlock with assistant director Lawrence Ram.
Though Veyil was a hit film, Priyanka did not land in good offers later on. She was seen in a couple of Tamil films like Tholaipesi and Thiruththam and then shifted her focus to Malayalam film industry.
Priyanka has a couple of Tamil films – Sengathu Boomiyile and Vaanam Paatha Seemaiyile – in the post production stages at present. She has also won the Kerala State Government award for best actress for the film Vilapangalkkappuram.
