For director Bala, film making is a craftsmanship and he does prove it every time. If not his movies make box office hits, he comes to the fore through his excellence. It was his Sethu which transformed the fate of Vikram into Chiyan; it was again Nanda which gained needed momentum to Surya. Again Pithamagan wretched the coveted National Award for Vikram.
His subsequent films had other charming heroes in Aarya for Naan Kadavul, Aarya and Vishal in Avan Ivan. Though Bala does not mind sparing time and thoughts for his films, he is inclined towards cost of a film. So far there has been no sort of grievance nor complaint against Bala in terms of money involved in his film making. His current project Paradesi featuring Atharva in the lead role is on rapid pace.
Circles known to the producer said the proposed budget for the film is Rs12 crore. However the film is set to exceed this budget and Bala is in dire need of financial execution beyond this limit.
Some buzz declared that Bala has suspended the shooting due to financial need. But there is not much things to worry about and everything is going on as usual, claims the producer sources. It is true that the budget has increased but the producer has made arrangement for the continuation of the shooting.
