With the majority of the eligible actresses in Bollywood having taken the proverbial plunge into matrimony, all the eyes are set on the original ‘it’ girl Kareena Kapoor. And even though the dates of her marriage with Saif Ali Khan even now stay a puzzle, the story just managed to get thicker, when we got our hands on a photograph (courtesy Madhur Bhandarkar‘s tweet) that had Kareena Kapoor sporting a hold your breath…baby bump! Well, before you get any designs on your mind, let us tell you that the said ‘act’ happens to be a part of her upcoming film ‘Heroine‘, directed by Madhur Bhandarkar.
In the movie, Kareena Kapoor plays the part of an actress Mahi Arora, who apparently is said to be very fashionable, very edgy, very hard-hitting and very real.
While on the movie, Madhur Bhandarkar tweeted, “On the sets of #Heroine, #Kareena with her very efficient team.” And about the said image, he immediately tweeted, “Guys lets not speculate. Its for REEL & not real!!! Its for a scene in my film #Heroine. Its FAKE!!!”
It was only recently that the by-now-omnivorous Vidya Balan travelled all over the place sporting her baby bump, as a part of the heavy duty promotion of her film Kahaani. With all the hard work paying off and Vidya managing to ‘deliver’ a hit, its now simply over to you, Kareena!
While there are speculations that the film ‘Heroine’ is influenced by the lives of Rekha and Manisha Koirala, a little birdie tells us that, the film is actually inspired by the Hollywood hit The Sunset Boulevard. The actual truth will be revealed on September 14, the day when the film hits the theatres.
