According to UTV’s Chief Dhananjayan, Kalakalappu will work in all languages as the script is universal. Saying that UTV is exploring all the options, he also revealed that there are several enquiries from Tollywood about the remake.
Kalakalappu has not been released in Kerala yet and speaking about this, Dhananjayan said that plans are already on to remake the film in Malayalam and hence the Tamil release has been kept on hold in that state.
Kalakalappu is a laugh riot directed by Sundar C. The film, which has been receiving rave reviews from all quarters, stars Vimal, Mirchi Shiva, Anjali, Oviya and Santhanam in the lead roles. Vijay Ebenezer has scored the music for this venture.
