Actress Hansika Motwani was roped in play an important role in Vettai Mannan though Simbu’s lead pair in the film is Deeksha Seth. The buzz now is that she will pair up with Simbu for the first time in Vaalu.
Vaalu is being produced Nic Arts’ SS Chakravarthy and Vijay will don the director’s cap for it. The film will also have Santhanam and VTV Ganesh to offer comic relief. Vaalu is touted to be a complete comedy entertainer with music by Thaman. TS Suresh has been roped in as the editor.
Vaalu will start rolling after Simbu completes Poda Podi and Vettai Mannan, states sources in the tinsel town.

Earlier we have reported that STR has recently signed a new film titled Vaalu for NIC Arts. The film will be directed by debutant Vijay and is likely to go on floors after the completion of Vettai Mannan. Now the latest buzz is that the film will have Hansika Motwani as the leading lady. Santhaanam and VTV Ganesh are also likely to play prominent roles in thsi flick. Jai of Subramaniapuram fame will play an important role (as Simbu’s friend) in Vettai Mannan. Yuvanshankar Raja will compose its music. Vettai Mannan, an action-packed gangster story, is Simbu’s costliest film till date (30 to 40 crores). There are reports that Simbu will play the role of a serial killer in the film.
