Following Soundarya Rajnikanth, the director of Kochadaiyan, raving about Deepika Padukone’s dedication and sincerity on the sets of the film, the Bollywood star has thanked her for making her stay in Kerala comfortable. Deepika Padukone thanked Soundarya Rajnikanth for making her comfortable and praised her for being ‘such a wonderful director.’
Deepika Padukone was initially roped in for Raana but since this project has been delayed due to Rajnikanth’s illness, she has been signed up to pair up with him in Kochadaiyan. In fact, director KS Ravikumar and Rajnikanth’s wife Latha Rajnikanth have said earlier that Kochadaiyan is sort of a prequel to Raana.

Superstar’s younger daughter Soundarya Rajnikanth, who has a great bonding with the Om Shanti Om actress tweeted, “It was a pleasure directing you! Will see you soon for sure Lots of love from Appa amma and the whole unit!!! Big hug!” And immediately Deepika responded, “thank u for making me feel so comfortable & for being such a wonderful director!lots of love to amma and appa & see you soon.”
