They were undefeated on their home ground and clinched their second IPL title in 2011, but defending champions Chennai Super Kings have looked like a mediocre side in this season so far. Chennai dugout which is full of talented Indian batsmen have suffered as none of them have clicked on a consistent basis. The form of MS Dhoni has further added to their woes.

On the other hand Deccan Chargers are all geared up after their two wins from two matches against Ganguly-led Pune Warriors India. Back in form Cameron White has played a major role in both the wins with 46-ball 78 and 45-ball 74 against Pune Warriors India. Skipper Sangakkara was also back in form in the last match against the Pune Warriors.
For Chennai Super Kings, apart from Faf du Plessis none of the players have been able to make an impact. They have been struggling in all the matches and the team management will have to find a solution if they want to stay in the contest.
Players to watch out for:
Chennai Super Kings: He was back in some form in the last match and Chennai would have high expectations from Suresh Raina who crossed 2,000-run mark in IPL. Rains plays a major role in Chennai dugout and they will certainly need him to fire to get the team back in the rhythm.
Deccan Chargers: As an opener Shikhar Dhawan has provided decent starts to his side in several matches however the Chargers ended up losing those matches. But now when his team is back to winning ways, Dhawan shall leave no stone unturned to continue their winning streak.
The match begins at 8:00 pm
