Actress Chaya Singh has said her wedding will take place this year. “My parents were waiting for a long time for my consent to start the bridegroom hunt. Recently I gave nod to their wish. They are now on the lookout for my future husband,” she says.
The actress, who made her debut with ‘Thiruda Thirudi‘ opposite Dhanush, is popular for her roles in ‘Vallamai Tharayo‘ and ‘Ananthapurathu Veedu‘. Besides Tamil, she has acted in Malayalam, Bhojpuri and Bengali movies.
“It is my constant decision to leave my marriage to the choice of my parents. They are hopeful of selecting a perfect bridegroom soon and if things go as expected, I will enter wedlock before the end of this year,” she says.
Chaya Singh says she would like to do meaningful roles in movies. “I want to be remembered as a talented actress who could do any type of character. Language is not a barrier for me,” she says.
