The theatrical rights of Billa 2 in Kerala have been sold. While the rights for other states have been sold earlier, the negotiations for the Kerala Theatrical rights have been extending due to certain reasons. It has now been confirmed that Money Tree Entertainment Company has procured the rights to distribute the film in Kerala.
Billa 2 holds the distinction of being Ajith’s first film to have all the rights, including the theatrical rights, sold much before the censorship.
Billa 2 is directed by Chakri Toleti, who had directed Kamal Hassan and Mohanlal in Unnai Pol Oruvan. The film stars Ajith in the lead role with former Miss World Parvathy Omanakuttan and Bruna Abdullah as his lead pairs. Yuvan Shankar Raja has scored the music for this film which is already on it ways to top the charts.
