The shooting of Settai (tentatively titled) which is the remake of the Hindi flick Delhi Belly has begun. Aarya, Santhanam and Premji Amaren has joined the sets at the Binny Mills, confirmed UTV’s CEO Dhananjayan.
The film is directed by R Kannan of Kandein Kadhalai fame and director John Mahendran (director of the Vijay starrer Sachein) has penned the script. The shooting of the first schedule of Settai will go on for 24 days.
Hansika Motwani, Anjali and Nasser are also included in the star cast. Some more actors are to be included in the star cast and an announcement pertaining to this will be made soon, it is said.
It may be mentioned here that in the original version Delhi Belly, Imran Khan, Vir Das, Kunaal Roy Kapur, Poorna Jagannathan and Shenaz Treasurywala played the lead roles.
