Actor Aarya would be co-starring Ajith in the latter’s upcoming untitled film.
Ajith is now gearing up for the release of his Billa-2 which has been directed by Chakri Taloti and has a bevy of beauties including beauty queen Parvathy Omanakuttan who plays Ajith’s heroine in the film. Brazilian scorcher Bruno Abdullah plays a significant role in the film, which is expected to hit the screens in June.

Ajith has also committed to star in director Vishnuvardhan’s next film, which is yet to be titled. Incidentally, it was Vishnuvardhan who directed Ajith in the super-duper hit film Billa (2007) but he couldn’t direct the sequel Billa-2 as he got busy with his Telugu film commitments. Vishnu’s film stars Nayantara opposite Ajith and also has significant roles for Aarya and Tapasee, the other couple in the film.
Aarya, who is among the top heroies, has never shied away from starring in multi-starr films like Arindhum Ariyamalum, Ullam Ketkumae, Avan Ivan, Vettai and Urumi. As such, he says it’s exciting to work with Ajith, one of his favourite heroes, and adds that he’s looking forward to the commencement of the film’s shooting schedule.
“I have always loved watching Ajith’s films. He is an actor who doesn’t have any ego. The casual manner with which he interacted and moved with his Mankatha co-stars was really appreciable. He treats all humans the same way: be it a technician, a labourer or an actor. He wished me good luck on my birthday recently and said that the film (starring us) would work out very well.
“I’m a close friend of Vishnu for whom I’m even ready to play any insignificant role in his film,” says Aarya who has done films like Arindhum Ariyamalum and Pattiyal in Vishnu’s direction.
