’3′ directed by Aishwarya Dhanush starring Dhanush and Shruti Haasan might not have pleased all the centers of audience but the film continues to make headlines and has been chosen for this festival.
The fest will also see the screening of another Dhanush film, ‘Aadukalam’ by Vetrimaaran that swept several National Awards and was much acclaimed by critics. Another National Award winning film, ‘Azhagarsamiyin Kuthirai’, directed by Suseenthiran will be screened. ‘Varnam’ by SM Raju has also been chosen for the New York Indian Film Festival.
Buzz is that Aishwarya Dhanush will be leaving for New York tonight (May 21) but Dhanush will not be accompanying her as he is busy shooting for his Bollywood debut, ‘Raanjhana’ directed by Aanand L Rai of ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ fame.
