Billa 2 is all complete. Buzz is that Aascar Films V Ravichandran has grabbed the Tamilnadu theatrical rights of the movie.
Sunir Kheterpal of In Entertainment, producer of Billa 2 has reportedly said that the TN theatrical rights have been sold to Aascar Ravichandran. All other theatrical rights have been sold except Kerala.
The movie is a prequel to Billa which featured Ajith in lead role.
Billa 2 is directed by Chakro Toleti and features Parvathy Ommankuttan in the lead role. Billa 2 releases in June first week. Yuvan Shankar raja has scored the music.

The producers of Billa-2 have started striking gold with the profit box much prior to its release. Recently, there was news that the satellite rights of the film has been sold out for Rs 6.5Crores (approximately). The latest news is about the Tamil Nadu theatrical rights that have been acquired by Aascar Ravichandran of Aascar International for a whooping amount.
It is worth mentioning that Aascar Ravichandran had earlier produced Ajith’s Poovellam Un Vaasam that was directed by Ezhil.
Aascar’s previous release Velayudham had spanned good profit in box office.
