Vijay shoots a song in Bangkok for ‘Thuppaki’

‘Ilayathalapathy’ Vijay shot a song in Bangkok recently for his upcoming film ‘Thuppaki‘!

Vijay is currently in Bangkok for the shoot of his film ‘Thuppaki‘ that is directed by AR Murugadoss. The director recently filmed a song sequence with Vijay and Kajal Agarwal romancing in some of the exotic locations in Thailand.

Sources in the unit say that the song that is now being shot is one of the highlights of the film as AR Murugadoss has filmed it so beautifully with Vijay‘s electric dance movements and Kajal Agarwal‘s glamourous costumes.

‘Thuppaki‘ is one of the much discussed films of this season. Vijay plays an encounter specialist and the story is based in the city of Mumbai. Kajal Agarwal plays the female lead and Jayaram and Sathyan play crucial roles. Harris Jayaraj scores the music and Santhosh Sivan handles the camera.

The film is produced by Kalaipuli S Dhanu.

Ilayathalapathy Vijay is literally singing and dancing on the beaches, night clubs and streets of Bangkok with Kajal Agarwal for his AR Murugadoss directed Thuppaki!

Remember how Harris Jayaraj, the films music director asked him to sing a peppy number in the film.

Two weeks back they had recorded the song in Chennai and are now picturising it in Bangkok. AR Murugadoss wants the song and its picturisation to be quirky, fast paced with lot of energy.

The song is rumoured to be choreographed by a hot-shot Mumbai choreographer, who is putting “a lot of energy and fizz” into the song.

Ace cameraman Santosh Sivan is shooting the dance movements in a very unique way.
