Rajnikanth who has already wowed his millions of his fans by singing a song in ‘Mannan‘, that goes ‘Adikuthu Kuliru…‘ with S Janaki, has donned the cap of a singer again, this time to the tunes of AR Rahman!
The song is said to have been recorded recently and is said to be in the lines of ‘Thendralodu Udan Piranthaal…‘ from ‘Raja Raja Cholan‘, which was crooned by the ace Sivaji Ganesan.
This brings back the voice of Superstar in a track after two long decades for ‘Mannan‘ released in the early 1990s.
‘Kochadaiyan‘ a 3D film is helmed by Soundarya Ashwin and has top notch technicians from all over the country. It is touted to see Rajnikanth in two roles, as father and son and some birdies further have it that while Shobana is paired with the father role, Deepika Padukone is the lady love of the other.

The film is said to be a HI-TECH 3 D with Performance capturing technology being used…K.S.Ravikumar is doing the Direction supervision for the film, while AR Rahman scores the music..
The film has a dream star cast that includes Deepika Padukone, Shobana, Jackie Shroff, Nasser and Sarath Kumar.
According to sources,this being one of the most anticipated movies of the year is likely to have a Japanese version too..The shooting of the film is slated to kickstart in London later this week..
It might be noted that Superstar’s blockbuster tamil film Muthu became a sensation in Japan which was released as Muthu Odoru Maharaja (Dancing Maharaja).
