The calls on air about Tamil remake of Delhi Belly have been rounding upon in towns over a long period of time. Earlier, it was reported that either Silambarasan of Jeyam Ravi would be considered for the lead character, but it was Aarya who is on final cards now.
The recent news is that apart from Santhanam, who was already confirmed for the project, it will be Hansika Motwani playing the female lead character. Another lead role will be played by Premji Amaran.
When approached the producers of UTV Motion Pictures, they didn’t reveal anything much about the news as they state that considerations are still on and the official confirmations will be made shortly. However, it will be Kannan wielding megaphone for the film.
