Actress Anjali is playing the role of a Health Inspector in ‘Masala Cafe‘, the comeback directorial venture of Sundar C. Besides the ‘Angadi Theru‘ girl, the film has Vimal, Shiva and Oviya of ‘Kalavani‘ fame in lead roles.
Says Anjali, “Masala Cafe is a typical Sundar C film that has no dearth for comedy. With Vimal and Shiva around, the humor quotient is increased even more. I am happy to play an important role in such a laugh riot.”
Next in the line for Anjali is a film to be produced by AR Murugadoss, after ‘Engaeyum Eppothum‘. To be directed by Kinsely, a former associate to the ‘7am Arivu‘ director, the movie is touted to have AR Murugadoss‘s younger brother in the lead.
“The character I am going to do in this yet-to-be-titled film is a straight contrast to the Manimegalai role I did in Engaeyum Eppothum,” says Anjali. Speaking on a personal front, the actress says she finds no time to fall in love, at least for the next two years.
