Actress Amala Paul, while confirming that she was approached to play the female lead opposite ‘Jayam’ Ravi in ‘Boologam‘, however says she was unable to sign the project due to ‘date issues’ “I could not allot the dates required by them,” she says.
Following Amala Paul‘s inability to be part of the project, it is said that a hunt is on by the producers, a top actress will be roped in for the task. “Expect an announcement soon,” sources say.
Being produced by Aascar V Ravichandran, ‘Boologam‘, directed by debutant Kalyan, has ‘Jayam’ Ravi playing a kick-boxer, a role which was already made memorable by him in ‘M Kumaran S/O Mahalakshmi‘.
Shooting for ‘Boologam‘ is expected to start soon. An action adventure, the script is said to be having an interesting love episode too. “Fresher Kalyan is banking heavily on the script,” add sources.
