In the recent times, the trend of Novels being made into films is slowly spreading in Kollywood. The last major release of this type was ‘Aravaan’, which was based on the Sahitya Academy Award-winning novel ‘Kaaval Kottam’, written by Su.Venkatesan.
Another movie named ‘Agaradhi’ is being made, which is based on the Novel named ‘Iravil Oru Vaanavil’ written by Crime Novelist Rajesh Kumar.
‘Agaradhi’ features Pradheep and 4 Heroines namely Monica, Tollywood’s Archana, Oviya and Keerthi Chawla along with him. This Crime Thriller movie is directed by Naga Venkatesh. Pawan is featured in a prominent role. ‘Nanban’ fame Sathyan takes care of Comedy. The Music is scored by Sundar C.Babu.
‘Agaradhi’ is being released as a bilingual movie in Telugu too under the name ‘Vaibhogam’. Naga Venkatesh said that, “The making of a Novel into a film is not an easy task. I have tried my best in my own unique way”. There is news that, Pradheep, who comes as an Investigative Police, has undergone formal training from one of the leading Police officers in Hyderabad, who also happens to be his close relative too.
