Last time we saw Vijay playing the role of encounter specialist was in Pokkiri. It was a thundering response to see him in the surprising role during the film’s climax. But in A.R Murugadoss’ Thuppaki will have Vijay appearing in cop’s uniform throughout the movie.
Major portions of the film have been shot in Mumbai and cinematographer Santhosh Sivan has mentioned that the second schedule will begin soon.
Harris Jayaraj is done with basic level of music composing for the film.
