The wage row between Tamil Film Producers Council and FEFSI Union has grounded the shooting for many films. One amog them is Thuppaki. It features Vijay in the lead role and is directed by AR Murugadoss.

Kajal Agarwal plays Vijay’s heroine in the movie. The first schedule of the movie was completed in Mumbai where a few action sequences and a couple of songs have been canned.
Thuppaki will resume as soon as the remuneration issue is sorted out between FEFSI and Producers Council, sources say.
