The shooting of Kochadaiyan which has Rajnikanth in the lead role is to commence next month. The photo shoot for this film has taken place in Chennai.
Rajnikanth removed his beard and mustache and put up the makeup. Since Rajnikanth is putting a makeup after a long time after his illness, there were some religious ceremonies conducted by his family members. The priests conducted various rituals. Finally a coconut was broken to cast away evil eye.
Latha Rajnikanth while speaking about this said, “I am very happy to see my husband Rajnikanth putting up the makeup. I am very thankful to God. Religious rituals were conducted and a coconut was broken.”
Rajnikanth’s daughter Soundarya is directing this film. A huge cast consisting of Sarathkumar, Aadhi, Nasar, Vadivelu and Shobana are starring in this film. Katrina Kaif is the heroine of this film.
