One thing that has brought immense joy to actress Samantha is the news of her being assigned by ace filmmaker Mani Ratnam to do the female lead in Kadal.
Currently shooting for Goutham Menon‘s Neethanae En Ponvasantham opposite Jeeva, she now plays the female lead to veteran actor Karthik‘s son Goutham in the movie.
Sources close to the actress say that she is extremely thrilled and is literally in joy to be part of Mani Ratnam‘s venture. Besides the movie will be released simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu.
