Now here’s the latest news on the film as the makers have confirmed that it will be Deepika Padukone starring opposite Superstar Rajnikanth in female lead role.
Earlier consideration was Katrina Kaif, but she wasn’t able to accept the project due to some reasons. It is worth mentioning that tall and elegant actress Deepika Padukone had already few moments of shooting in Superstar’s Raana that was dropped right on the first day of shooting due to sudden illness of the actor.
