The buzz in Kollywood is that the handsome hunk ‘Jayam’ Ravi would be paired up opposite actress Nayantara, who is on a ‘comeback’ mode, in his upcoming film to be directed by Samuthirakani. Samu, as he is fondly referred to by his friends in the industry, has taken after Sasikumar by doubling up as film-maker and actor.
Samu’s performance as a cop in Easun was appreciated by many. In the final schedule of the Kannada remake of the Tamil super-hit film Poraali, Samu is expected to take up the making of Ravi-Nayan starrer once he completes the Kananda film staring Punith Rajkumar in the lead.
‘Jayam’ Ravi, on the other hand, is also shooting for the final leg (hopefully!) of director Ameer’s upcoming film Aadhibagawan opposite Neetu Chandra.
Reports also say that ‘Jayam’ Ravi has been approached by AirTel mobile service provider to endorse its brand. After the AirTel assignment, ‘Jayam’ Ravi is likely to start shooting for Samu’s film to be produced by Vaasan Visuals, producer of successful films such as Bala’s Naan Kadavul and Rajesh’s Boss Engira Baskaran.
There is excitement around the air as fans are waiting eagerly to watch Nayantara back on big screen. The actress, who recently split with Prabhu deva to announce her comeback in films, is also likely to be paired up opposite Ajith in his upcoming film after Billa-2. While Jayam Ravi and Nayantara would be romancing on-screen for the first time, Nayan had already starred with Ajith in films like Billa and Aegan.
