Actor Vikram, who is currently shooting for ‘Thaandavam‘ and ‘Karikalan‘, is on the verge of signing a new project, if one has to go by what sources say. The actor is apparently impressed with a script narrated to him by one of the former assistants of Mani Ratnam.
“Whenever a script is narrated to Vikram, he would see what his character in it could offer to him, in terms of scope to perform. On that front, he is thoroughly impressed with the storyline by Mani Ratnam‘s associate,” sources said.
Meanwhile, there is a buzz that Vikram would be roped in by a popular television channel to host a game show, which would offer winners Rs one crore. However, the actor and circles close to him are tightlipped about it.
When we probed, they said, “Vikram at present has two Tamil films and a Hindi movie in his hand. So he finds it difficult to allot dates for the television show. But talks are on and a final decision is yet to be taken.”
