A couple of days ago, producer Mohan Nadarajan alleged that Ileana failed to return the advance amount (Rs 40 lakh) she had taken from him, since the project he had originally planned with her was dropped.
Now it’s time for Ileana to explain herself. According to the actress’s spokesperson, it has been clearly mentioned in the agreement between Ileana and Mohan Nadarajan that there was no necessity for the actress to pay back the advance amount if the project failed to take off.
“There is a legal clause in the contract that Ileana doesn’t have to return the advance amount given to her. Mohan Nadarajan is free to take legal action against Ileana. We are ready to face it,” the spokesperson said.
Stating that the producer had already approached the Producers Council in Telugu industry with the same complaint, the spokesperson said the Council rejected his plea after going through the agreement.
