Bollywood bombshell Deepika Padukone was in Chennai for the last couple of days to do some preliminary works for ‘Kochadaiyan‘, in which she would share the screen space for the first time with Superstar Rajnikanth.
“Since Kochadaiyan is India’s first film to be made using complete performance capturing technology, Deepika Padukone was scanned in Chennai on Monday. This was to bring her body language and expressions so clear and authentic on screen,” sources say.
“Deepika Padukone co-operated with director Soundarya R Ashwin and other technicians a lot. In fact, she was so happy to see her name along with that of Rajnikanth‘s in the latest print advertisements of Kochadaiyan. She considered it as a great honour,” sources say.
Meanwhile, the latest buzz is that dance master Sivasankar is planning to direct a song sequence on Rajnikanth, in which the Superstar will dance like Lord Siva for three minutes. “The song will be shot in the first week of March,” sources say.
Deepika Padukone turns darker for RajniKanth!
Gorgeous Deepika Padukone, in a bid to work with Rajnikanth, seems to have left her Bollywood project Race midway and has signed forthcoming Tamil movie Kochadaiyan. Indeed, she has snubbed the makers of her upcoming Hindi movie that has left them fuming.
Sources informed a leading daily that Deepika Padukone’s complexion is many shades lighter than Rajnikanth’s. Hence when Deepika Padukone was suggested to have some darker modifications on her skin tone, she agreed to it.
Kochadaiyan, meanwhile, is being touted as the first Indian 3D motion-capture film. The technology has previously been seen in films like Avatar (2009) and The Adventures Of Tintin (2011).
Dippy is willing to do whatever required for the film, keeping aside all the starry tantrums.
