Actress Bhavana has gone on record saying categorically that she is not in love with Mollywood actor Rajeev as claimed by some sections of the press.
“At present, I just don’t have any time to fall in love with anyone; concentrating in my career in films takes precedence over everything else for me,” says the Asal girl.
After starring in Asal opposite Ajith more than a couple of years back, Bhavana appears to have completely ‘vanished’ from the Tamil screens. As readers are aware, Bhavana debuted as heroine in Tamil films opposite another debutant Naren in director Mysskin’s Chithiram Pesudhadi six years back. She then starred opposite many heroes including Madhavan and ‘Jayam’ Ravi.
Considered a ‘homely’ heroine on the likes of Suhasini and Nadiya, Bhavana was expected to make it big in Tamil films but somehow, it hasn’t happened. She starred in many Telugu films and has of late started acting in her native Malayalm films. Some time back, rumours in the local press said that she had fallen love with Mollywood actor and cricketer Rajeev Pillai and that she was planning to marry him soon.
Bhavana was the ambassador of the Kerala Cricket Team in the recently concluded Celebrity Cricket League. Raeev Pillai, who was part of the team, has also denied that he was in love with her. “I met Rajeev only during the cricket league matches. I know him as a friend but am not in love with him,” asserts Bhavana.
