As we had reported, the British teen queen has bagged a biggie with Vikram – Shankar’s I. The latest buzz is that she has been paid Rs 75 lakhs for this film.
Amy Jackson has been in the Tamil film industry for just over two years but she has managed to surpass many other actresses here in terms of projects and now money. Says a source close to the development, “Yes, she’s being paid Rs 75 lakh for Shankar’s film.
Interestingly, the actress was paid a mere Rs 5 lakh for AL Vijay’s Madrasapattinam in which she made her Indian film debut. Says another source, For Thaandavam, which is another A L Vijay film where she shares screen space with Vikram again, the actress was paid between Rs 45 and 50 lakh.
Looks like the actress, who’s currently dating her Ekk Deewana Tha co-star Prateik Babbar, has a knack for bagging the best films and knows how to make the most moolah as well.
