Actress Amala Paul got a taste of the affection and craze the youths have for her at the audio launch of the Telugu version of the film Kaadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Eppadi. The film, which was earlier planned as a short-film, has now been turned into a feature film and stars Siddharth and Amala Paul in lead roles.
Keeping in view the popularity Siddharth enjoys among the Telugu audience, the producer and director thought it best to make it a bilingual affair and are planning to release the film shortly in Tamil and Telugu versions. As part of promoting the film, Amala Paul took part in the audio-launch of the film’s Telugu version at Hyderabad.

The actress, who is quite happy that her latest Tamil film Vettai has been running successfully, skipped the audio-launch of the Tamil version held in Chennai last week but chose to attend the audio-launch of the Telugu version. Her absence at the audio-launch drew flak and evoked criticism from her detractors. Her reason that she had an ‘examination to attend’ didn’t find many takers.
Apparently to avoid another barrage of criticisms, Amala Paul took part in the Telugu version’s audio-launch. Amala happens to be a known face among movie-goers in Andhra Paradesh due to the release of her Tamil films in the State in their Telugu-dubbed version. The Telugu youths reportedly couldn’t control their excitement when they got to watch Amala Paul from close quarters.
When she was exiting the venue after the function, youths mobbed her, pinched her at her hips and other parts of the body. The actress’ skin reportedly suffered some ‘scratches’ due to the fans’ manhandling. Amala Paul was expected to be mobbed seeking autographs and was in for a rude shock when they did subject her to unexpected ‘physical’ harassment.
The security personnel rushed to the spot and rescued her from the mob before helping her to get into her waiting car.

am just loving amala’s eyes
