There were speculations that Simbu had delayed the shooting of Poda Podi as a result, the film is still lying in the cans. However it is now revealed that Poda Podi travels through three phases of a boy and a girl’s life. So, the amount of time taken to finish the film will not be equal to the time taken for the completion of any other film.
Moreover the film was entirely shot in London and only during a particular season, for the look and feel of the film. Hence the shoot is getting delayed.
Produced by Gemini Films, the movie has Simbu and Sarathkumar’s daughter Varalakshmi in the lead roles. Says Gemini Films, ‘we are impressed with the way the film has shaped and are in very good support and rapport with Simbu’.
