While we know that Dhanush was a special invitee at the recent dinner hosted by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to his Japanese counterpart, it remained as a secret whether the VVIP of the country interacted with Dhanush and if so, what he spoke to him.
Here we bring those details to you, straight from Dhanush. “Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh shook his hands with me and said he was happy to meet me. He hailed my song (‘why this kolaveri di…‘) and wished me and my family a happy new year.”
The National Award winning actor adds: “Though it was a brief interaction, it was a great honour to interact with the Prime Minister of India. I am indebted to him for inviting me to the dinner he hosted to Japanese Prime Minister.”
On his New Year plans, Dhanush, who will have the release of ’3′ soon, says, “I will spend the whole day with my family members without any other commitments, because January 1 is the birthday of Aishwarya.”
