Surya’s next release is ‘Maatraan’, directed by KV Anand.
The two come together after the hit film ‘Ayan’. Surya has tattooed on his left arm a Chinese symbol below his thumb, a pointed star on his wrist and a huge ‘A’ in the hand. Surya has three tattoos for the purpose of the film. These tattoos are temporary and the ‘A’ symbolizes his character’s name in the film, whereas the other two have a role to play in the crux of the script.
‘Maatraan’ has Surya and Kajal Agarwal in the lead roles. The film is expected to be released in summer 2012.
