After a blockbuster in Nanban, all eyes are now on director Shankar now. The guess game is on to find out who will featue in the lead roles in his movie.
Shankar, who is on a holiday, says, ‘No one has been signed on yet. There are several concepts in mind. My next will be an original script and I should finalise it by March.’
His Nanban was a remake of 3 Idiots. Quizzed whether he would do another one, he says, ‘I never expected to ever do a remake. This was a new experience, unexpected, but I won’t do another remake. Not even a remake of my own film’.
On his Bollywood dreams, he says, ‘I am open to doing to Hindi films. In fact, I was supposed to work with Shah Rukh. Everything just needs to fall into place. It depends on what I do next’.
