Much before Lingusamy completed working on Vettai, he had openly admitted that plans are going on to remake the film in Hindi with Ranbir Kapoor and Madhavan. But as the film neared its release, It was heard that Salman Khan and Ranbir Kapoor are the prime choices.
All of sudden, something new has hit the headlines that Shahrukh Khan was quite impressed with the movie and is showing keen interest over playing the role of Madhavan while Imran Khan as Aarya. In contrast, other reports say that since Madhavan’s character gains substantiality only after intermission, there might be some slight changes in the script to suit the Bollywood audiences.
