Kollywood’s last release for the year is going to be ‘Rajapattai‘, which interestingly is the Vikram‘s first commercial film in the last five years. Shankar‘s ‘Anniyan‘ was the actor’s last masala movie, it is to be noted.
‘Rajapattai‘, directed by Suseenthiran, is hitting the screens today. Producer Prasad V Potluri of PVP Cinema has ensured that the film hit maximum number of screens in Tamil Nadu and other parts of the world.
Says Vikram, “When I was earning to do a commercial movie, since I was concentrating on off-beat films for the past few years, came Suseenthiran with an apt script. I was so impressed by it and gave my immediate consent to be part of the project.”
He adds: “Rajapattai will be on the lines of Dhil, Dhool and Saami. Suseenthiran is one of the best directors I have worked with. Sharing the screen space with veteran Tollywood director Vishwanath was a great learning experience.”
‘Rajapattai‘ is simultaneously releasing in Telugu as ‘Veedinthe‘.
