National Award winning filmmaker Vettrimaran‘s next venture ‘Vada Chennai‘, which is set to hit the floors soon, is getting bigger. It was earlier said that STR aka Simbu will be the protagonist of the film. Now it is said there will be two heroes and the other one is Tollywood’s Rana Daggubati.
“It’s actually a dual hero subject and Vettrimaran wanted to keep this as an secret. Now that the film is set to hit the floors soon, he has confirmed that Rana Daggubati, a popular actor in Telugu, will share the screen space with Simbu,” sources say.
They add: “Andrea and Divya will be the leading ladies. The script set in the backdrop of North Chennai will be so close to reality and it will throw light on some of the hidden facts of the area. The shooting will start at the earliest.”
To be produced by Dhayanidhi Alagiri on Cloud Nine Movies banner, ‘Vada Chennai‘ will have music by G.V Prakash Kumar. “In fact, Vettrimaran wanted to make this film as his maiden venture, but he put it on hold due to various reasons,” add sources.
