It’s final and confirmed. We hear it straight from the horses’ mouth producer Dayanidhi Azhagiri and director Vetrimaaran. The national award winning director is all set to kick-start his next project ‘Vada Chennai’ in March 2012 as he is busy now on research works about collecting some facts about the regions of North Chennai.
Says Dayanidhi Azhagiri: ‘I am happy to announce my next project with director Vetrimaran. The film has Simbu in lead role while Telugu actor Rana Daggubati in an important character. G.V Prakash Kumar (Music), Velraj (Cinematography), Kishore T.E (Editing) and Jackie (Art Director) are the technicians working into the project.
Earlier it was expected that Telugu actor Ram might be considered for the role, but later Rana Daggubati picked up the role for its powerful characterization.
