Director Pughazhendi Thangaraj’s Uchithanai Mugaranthal is all set for release on 16 December. The movie stars Sathyaraj, Nasser, Seeman and Sangeetha in the lead roles.
Says Thangaraj, ‘ it is a movie about the struggles faced by an adolescent girl in the hands of Sri Lankan army during ethnic war in Sri Lanka. on 1st March, 2009 she was subject to all atrocities by the army personnel. We have chronicled that in the movie.’
No one can deny that Tamils were subjected to atrocities by Sri Lankan army and we people in Tamil are least bothered about it. The movie will make us feel guilty for our acts, he added.
To be presented by Gemini Film Circuit, the movie that has music by D Imman would be released on 16th December.
